Manguera verde, 2020
Dani Checa
Oil on canvas
120 × 120 cm
A garden hose twists and coils across the canvas, transforming an ordinary domestic object into an ambiguous, almost living presence. Enlarged and removed from its familiar context, the hose becomes a network of organic forms—resembling intestines, roots, veins, or tangled limbs. Its repeated curves create a sense of continuous movement, as though the object is growing, constricting, or folding endlessly into itself.
